Potty Training!

Much to my dismay and resistance, Zack decided he wanted to start potty training about a month and a half ago. I'd been putting it off because I figured I had to train both Zack and Jake at the same time but Jake wasn't quite ready yet. I finally realized that I didn't have to train both of them at the same time if only one was ready so we took the plunge and started with Zack. (Less stress! Phew!) He was SO ready to start and has practically trained himself. He's doing great!! He wears big boy underwear all day and a pull-up at nap and bed time. He usually wakes up dry so we might not have to use pull-ups for very long. He gets a sticker for #1 and a TRAIN sticker for #2. He loves collecting stickers all day and wears them proudly on his shirt or any other body part of his liking. He's had very few accidents along the way and he's super proud of himself. We are as well!!
Here's Zack modeling different pairs of big boy underwear. What a goofball!

Disneyland for my 37th Birthday!

Since Disneyland was giving free admission on your birthday this year, NO WAY could I pass that up so yep...we went...again. :) Brian and I are annual pass holders and if you're a pass holder Disneyland lets you choose a gift instead of free admission. I chose the gift card in the amount of a one day, one park pass which is $72 for an adult! WHHOOOHOOO!! Thanks for the $72 gift Mr. Disney!! I had fun buying stuff....for the boys....for Christmas. *L* It never hurts to start early. :)

Zack and Jake had FUN and so did Brian and I. I love experiencing Disneyland through my children's eyes. This is their 4th trip now and since they are getting older they seemed to really enjoy it more. Lots of smiles, laughter, excitement, and dancing. After I got my pin that said, "Happy Birthday Jenny!" Zack said he wanted to come back for his birthday. He also said he wants to come back for Jake's birthday. *L* Hopefully he's not too disappointed since they share the same birthday therefore he ends up loosing out on an extra trip. There's always Daddy's birthday though! ;)

One For The Book

I have a photo slide show on my laptop as my screen saver and yesterday Zack saw a picture of me pregnant and said, “Mommy look at your belly!” I pulled up more pictures of when I was pregnant and when they were newborns in the hospital and told Zack that he and Jake lived in my belly for a little while when they were tiny babies.

Fast forward to today…

I’m sitting here eating my cereal and Zack comes over and says, “Mommy, I want to live in your belly!” He pulls my shirt up and sticks his head under it. He is laughing and being silly and then he starts to pat my chest and asks, “Is this your belly Mommy?” I told him no and patted my belly and said, “This is Mommy’s belly.” Then he tugs at my bra and asks, “What’s this?” I told him it was my bra. Then he asks, “Are those your babies in your bra?” I busted up laughing! :)

Need Christmas or Birthday Gift Ideas??
