Last week the boys were sick....then Brian and I got sick....today we decided the best thing for all of us was to be outside in the cold....genious...so, today we went to breakfast with Grammy and then went to the park for the very first time with the boys! It was foggy and cold and we didn't have mittens or good hats for the boys so they wore their grey uni-bomber hoodies and white socks on their hands as mittens...GENIUS!! No one was around but Brian was still too embarrassed to push them in their stroller as we walked to the park....he said the boys looked like geeks. *LMAO* Here are pictures of the little geeks enjoying themselves....socks and all!
After the park, we decided that we needed to go buy warm hats and real mittens....that way, the little geeks wouldn't embarrass their Daddy in public any more than normal. Here are the new hats and mittens....
Raise your hand if you like your new mittens!! Zack does!! I guess Jake prefers wearing socks on his hands.....what a geek....must be my DNA.

I love the new hats and mittens. I also love the picture of Zach giving the high-five. At first I thought that he was slapping Jacob's head but after the photo discription, I understand more.
Bug has a hat that looks just like this. And some mittens that look almost the same too. Wish we could get a photo of all the boys wearing them together.
Also, I think that using socks as gloves is very cleaver....not geeky.
Sydney has that same hat too! It's Columbia! She wore it for 2-3 years now. I got my money worth! Everytime she wears it, she gets a "cute hat" comment. So be prepared!
It's still so green there. Fall is pretty much over. The leaves turned and already fell. Kids are wearing their winter coats, hats, and gloves. Soon will be snow pants and boots. UGH!
I can hear the boys now, laughing on those swings. I love that!
How exciting to share that as a family! You guys are all so cute!
