Super Baby!

Lately when we put the boys to bed at night they rarely fall asleep quickly. Sometimes they stay awake for anywhere from one to two hours. In their cribs they play, talk, sing, make each other laugh, and most recently and consistently Jake strips. We go in there a few times to lay them back down, give them their binkies that they have tossed out of the cribs, make sure they don't have a dirty diaper, or make sure they are still dressed. The other night it was going on two hours and Brian had gone in twice already. I decided to give it a try. I entered the dark room, unzipped Jake's crib tent, located Jake in the dark and instantly felt that his pajama shirt was off. My hands felt around in the dark some more and I realized his pajama bottoms were off too. Then I came across his diaper which felt really weird....and then a bare tooshie. I stood him up, pulled him out of his crib and took him into the hallway to investigate.

This is what I found......

Notice the redness on his waist above his hip? He couldn't get the waist band off but gave himself a nice friction burn instead from all the tugging and pulling. LOL! I had quite a good laugh....complete with side cramps....and all I can say is THANK GOODNESS he's never done this with a soiled diaper....YET! Lord help me. I do have to say that the front view was hysterical but I left those pictures out for his privacy. Thanks for the laugh Jake! I love you!
