Sleep Eludes Him....

Jake has a really hard time falling asleep. *SIGH* It can take him 2 - 3 hours to fall asleep every night. *HEAVY SIGH* Poor Zack shares a room with Jake but he has adapted pretty great despite all the noise and generally falls asleep along the way. What a trooper. Nightly we hear banging, thumping, laughing, screaming, and talking through the floor and monitor. Here are pictures of Jake performing his night time gymnastics ritual. Thank GOD for the crib tent or he'd probably be doing back flips off the dressers.
Zack wants to try too....
Nice try Zack....one leg! ;)
Back to Jake....
Nice form Jake.....NOW GO TO SLEEEEEP!!!

I sympathize! How long can you keep them in cribs before they can't fit. Maybe 6 or 7?
Seriously though, do you have room for them to have their own bedroom if big beds were awful?? I wish we had one more bedroom! They'd be in their own room in the blink of an eye!
I say when they are 15 and they want to sleep in until noon we go in their room and do headstands on their bed and you can pull out these pictures to remind him.

I just read an article about a 2 year old in England that has the IQ of Einstein. Apparently he never sleeps....Maybe you have a genius on your hands!

SAME here! We are still trying to do an AN nap time, and it takes them 1-2 hrs to fall asleep, and sometimes they just don't. I guess that's going away. Then at bed time it takes around 2 hours! Since mine are in beds, this means leaving their room and playing in the bathroom, loft, hallway, our room... until we catch them and send them back to bed. SO frustrating!

OMG that last picture is so funny! What a lil stinker! You've got quite a gymnast on your hands, consider stock in band-aids and ice packs :)

Need Christmas or Birthday Gift Ideas??
