Jake started special needs preschool 2 days after his 3rd birthday back in January. Zack missed Jake so much during the time he was at school. I have to say I did/do too. Zack would cry and ask me when he could go to school with Jake or to his own school. Pretty much everyday as we drove away from dropping Jake off, Zack would say, "I don't want to miss Jake Mommy." It makes me so sad. Sad that he is sad but sad too that they aren't in school together like I'd always imagined and pictured since the day I found out I was having twins. With a heavy heart, I decided it was time to find Zack a school of his own. Jake's teacher recommended this preschool for Zack since a classmate of Jake's goes there after he leaves special day class so we decided to give it a try. She said Jake has made such great progress already and there is a chance that next year Jake could go to Zack's preschool part time (with an assistant) and part time in her class so he could continue his PT, OT and ST services. Hitting that milestone will be a very happy day.

Awww... how sad to hear Jake miss his buddy. But it looks and sounds like Zachary is doing great already! And it would be wonderful to have them together in preschool next year. A lot of my students do that and it makes a big difference (going part time to both preschools). :)
there is always more fun toys to play with and that is why he doesn't want to leave. LOL
