Now Presenting.....The Amazing Jacob!!!!!

OK....so I tried for days to load a video of Jake reading, or rather reciting by memory, the Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham but apparently the video was too big for blogger. :( After lots of frustration, I loaded it on You Tube. Zachary's First Day Of Preschool

Jake started special needs preschool 2 days after his 3rd birthday back in January. Zack missed Jake so much during the time he was at school. I have to say I did/do too. Zack would cry and ask me when he could go to school with Jake or to his own school. Pretty much everyday as we drove away from dropping Jake off, Zack would say, "I don't want to miss Jake Mommy." It makes me so sad. Sad that he is sad but sad too that they aren't in school together like I'd always imagined and pictured since the day I found out I was having twins. With a heavy heart, I decided it was time to find Zack a school of his own. Jake's teacher recommended this preschool for Zack since a classmate of Jake's goes there after he leaves special day class so we decided to give it a try. She said Jake has made such great progress already and there is a chance that next year Jake could go to Zack's preschool part time (with an assistant) and part time in her class so he could continue his PT, OT and ST services. Hitting that milestone will be a very happy day.
Here is Zack on his first day....March 8th. So excited to go in!
Jake walking Zack into his preschool.
He was beaming and so excited to have a school of his own.
When we arrived it was breakfast time. Here he his with Ms. Dawn and Ms. Corrie. And here is Zack with Ms. Julia. He had a great first day and seems to be very happy there. So happy in fact that he cries when I walk through the door to pick him up and doesn't want to leave.
I guess I'm boring. :(
