Our play group went to a skating rink for Tiny Tots Skate Lessons! I went to the same skating rink as a child and even had one of my birthday parties there! heehee! I expected lots of falls and crying but Zack and Jake did GREAT!!! Zack took off immediately and never looked back. Jake needed more assistance but got the hang of it towards the end. Only one mishap. Jake fell forward and hit his eye on the toe of his boot. He ended up with a small cut on his lid and a clump of lashes pulled out, but if you ask him if he's OK he brushes himself off and says, "Yeah! I'm fine!" (video at the end!) I can't wait to take them back and see if they pick up right where they left off! They really enjoyed themselves and talk about rollerskating pretty much everyday now. I love sharing their excitement and their firsts! :)

GREAT Job skating!!! I need to check and see if the roller skating rink here does something like this. I know the ice rinks do but it is just to cold to do that.
