Play Date!

The boys had a play date with Danny and Lucy (9 month old B/G twins) last weekend and it seems to have really lit a fire under Zack's bottom. He's really progressed quickly over the last week. I think seeing other babies doing things he wasn't doing yet made him take the leap!

Over the last week Zack's begun to:

1. Stay standing up while hanging on...very important to remember to hang on!
2. Clap his hands...soooo cute!
3. Crawl more consistently on hands and knees instead of the belly/commando crawl.
4. And today he pulled himself up onto his toy bucket that was turned upside down!!! YIPPEE!!!

Three out of four smiling is pretty good!

Danny and Lucy's mommy Michelle is my bud. We met at our local MoM club (Mothers of Multiples) when we were both fairly early in our pregnancies. Michelle really helped me out emotionally in my final months of pregnancy when I was cranky, tired, and UNCOMFORTABLE. After the boys came she would send me encouraging emails and helpful tips to make sure I didn't loose my mind. Michelle delivered Danny and Lucy almost 2 months to the day after I delivered Zack and Jake. I hope that our kiddos are always the best of pals. :) Thanks for your warm friendship Michelle and for hosting the play date! We had a blast and I hope we get together again very soon for another one!
