The boys finally had their 1 year checkup on Monday....at 13 1/2 months. They're doing great! Here are the numbers:
Zack
23 lbs, 3 oz
30.31 inches
Jake
23 lbs, 10 oz
30.71 inches
They're always neck and neck in weight and height although I'm a bit surprised that their numbers didn't change much from their 10 month checkup. They've only grown about an inch and gained about 2 lbs over the last 3 months....seems weird to me....I wonder if it's because we stopped formula....??? Anyway, the doctor said they're right where they should be so I guess worry wart Mommy should just simmer down. :) They also had their shots...which is never great, but they are troopers. Only a few tears... :(

they are still shorter than the distance from the tip of my nose looking forward to the tip of my fingers with my arm out to the side...(ummm...that measures 36") just thought you'd like to know this useful fact! LOL

wow those boys are doing great! I read that in the 12-24 mo range they generally gain 5 lbs in that entire year. So I think they are doing great!!!! I am eager to have their 15 mos appt to see if they have gained much. I know their appetites have decreased for sure.
Wow, they are almost the exact same size as Brody! I think those are good weights, I've heard the same thing about them losing/slowing down on the weight gain at this age.
