Zack has had a terrible diaper rash for the last week. We NEVER let them run around without a diaper because the 2 times we've done it in the past they peed on the carpet and that just freaks me out. Well....on Wednesday (I think??) it was sunny and warm so we let Zack walk around in our backyard with no clothes...only shoes. Pretty funny looking but it seemed to help the rash a bit and he enjoyed being naked I think. Well, yesterday after our zoo trip we gave them dinner and got the bath ready. Since we're washing them in the kitchen sink again we have to do one at a time. Brian was finishing up with Jake and Zack was still in his highchair. I could smell that he had pooped so I decided to take his diaper off, clean him up, and let him walk around naked for the 2 minutes it would take me to fill up the baby tub. Well...the little naked cruiser didn't waste any time. As I was filling the tub, I looked over and he was peeing on the corner of the carpet. EEEEK! I grabbed paper towels and soaked it up....I turned around to throw them away and wash my hands and just as I turned back around he was POOPING!!! O...M...G!!Poop....splat....poop....splat....poop....sssslide....right down his calf as he was walking. UGH!!!! I couldn't help but laugh and Brian too. I got him wiped down and straight into the tub...while poor Brian had to clean up the floor. Thank goodness for Lysol Wipes! And thank goodness he didn't poop on the carpet!

OMG!!!!! That is too funny! You are lucky that he didn't get on the carpet! Glad that you can laugh about it. That is all we can do in the moment when we want to just die! Oh have you tried Aveno Diaper rash cream? It always seems to work well on Bug. Maybe you have tried it already, but it not you might want to give it a try. Maybe it could work, and you won't have to let him be a streaker!

Diaper rash is never fun... but I do have an AWESOME reccomendation for a speedy clear it up! It's called Corona Ointment! (Just like the beer & feline!!) From what I am told they sell it at Target. If you can't find it there, try a pet store. That is where I got mine (Pet Zoo) I just used it on Sydney the other night. Sometimes she has issues whiping. Works like magic! I swear! There must be something about boys vs girls... cause my girls never peed like that. I think I would have freaked out with the poop. Our carpet here is bad enough....Now we worry about them spilling food and drinks! It never ends!!!
