We took the boys for a walk around the block the other night...no stroller...just hand holding. They did really good. Jake is terrified of grass for some reason though so every time we'd walk close to grass he'd hold on tighter to my hand or turn sideways and crab walk until the grass ended and concrete started again. Bizarre but hilarious! We bought harnesses/leashes for the boys a while ago. It was a hard decision to make but toddlers like to walk once they can, and with two going in separate directions I figured it was justified. I pulled them out the other day to see how the boys would do with them on and it was like they didn't even realize. They went about their business with no fussing....in fact I think they liked them a little. *L*
Sometimes I feel like I have a Monkey on my back. Other times I feel like someone is following me. I know...call me paranoid...that's just crazy talk.
OK Mom...lets WALK! I'll hold my own leash...thank you very much.

OK...now Zack and Jake are just like CARONA!!! and my own son is like Sidney!!!! Not fair. Spencer hated the Elmo harness that I had him wear when I came to visit you in December of 2006 for your baby shower. I thought it would help me out at the airport when I was flying alone with him but he would just flop on the ground like a dead fish. LOL
hmmm those packs look very cute! I was just thinking of getting something like that!!!! Good to know they work for you guys!!1 ours like to go in separate directions all the time.
Those are so cool! We'll definitely be getting those before we go to Disneyland, they are really cute too!
Oh how CUTE!!! I am ALL FOR those harnesses. It scares me to death to think 2 toddlers can run in separate directions... in danger zones. I am trying to get hubby on board with this idea. Regardless if he is on board or not, I'm getting them:)
