Jake has recovered from his black-eye after splatting onto the hardwood floor but it did nothing to faze him from wanting to climb. Lesson NOT learned. Here is a tally of the injuries that have been suffered so far this week....and it's only Wednesday.
Zack:
Hundredth Scraped Knee
First Bloody Nose
Millionth Bloody Lip
Jake:
Billionth Bloody Lip
Various Bumps and Bruises
First Smashed Finger In Door
This list does nothing good for me as a parent...and I'm sure people reading this are thinking I don't watch them closely enough, but when there's two of them running in different directions, getting into different trouble and different peril at the same time, what's a Mom to do?? Sheesh!

No no no, this does not have anything to do with your parenting skills! You are a wonderful mom!
Babies, toddlers, and school age children get hurt no matter if you have 1 or 6. I am sure we can all relate to this list! B & F have had lots of bumps and bruises on their foreheads. B has had a few bloody lips and a smashed finger in the door. Much more to come! :)
oh jenny! Every kid gets hurt. I just had Bug to watch when he was little and I couldn't keep up with his little adventures. Don't feel bad. This is life. You are such a good mommy! I can tell by looking at the pictures that you take of the boys and just how happy them both seem.
I think this injury list just goes to show that you have two boys! I can only imagine it gets worse from here. We deal with constant bruised legs here, there is always a bruise on Kat & Brody. I think kids just attract injuries. You are a very good mommy!
Oh Jenny! I so know what you are going through with 2 boys! I think this is only the beginning for us!!!!!
