I tried giving the boys cut up apple pieces a few months ago but they didn't like them and didn't really have the back molars to chew them up. Now that a few months have passed and they each have a full set of 1st year molars, I decided to try apples again. I peeled an apple, sliced it in half, removed the seeds, and gave Zack and Jake each a half of their own to try. They both munched away for a while but mostly they sucked the juice and made a mess. It was fun to watch though and the clean-up was minimal so GOOD TIMES! :)

How fun! We haven't tried that yet...I still cube their apples up! Maybe I need to try that! Looks like Z&J loved it!!!
They keep growing up. I love it when Bug learns something new. I remember when he did all the fun stuff that Z&J are doing....fun times.
They look like they did really well with the apples. It's a good idea to keep them busy too!
Brandon LOVES apples! I just wash it and hand it to him. Yes, we might have sticky apple juice on our walls and floors.
Aww what cuties! My kids will fight til their last breath for their apples. I usually cut them, but when I give them 1/2 of one they think they are soooo cool!
And yes, it is messy and the stains on the shirts drive me batty.
