The boys are obsessed with their binkies. I was planning to break them of the bink after teething was done....but it seems that teething will never be done so today we went cold turkey...no bink except for nap and bed time. It went pretty well. Lots of hand chewing and chewing on whatever they happened to be holding at the time, but they didn't ask for their binkies so this might really be happening! If the next few days goes well then we'll try to break them completely over the four day Thanksgiving holiday. It will be nice to see my boys beautiful smiles without a binkie blocking the way. Wish us luck! :)

Good luck!!!!! My boys never were that attached during the day, but did like them at nap and bed time. We just went cold turkey too at I think 15 months and it was super easy! I hope it will be that easy for you!!!
Ugh. I think we should probably do this soon too. We use them really only for nap/bedtime or car rides/big owies. I guess they are almost 2, right? I was such an avid thumbsucker until I was 8 that even 2 seems young. lol But with a baby coming soon, it almost seems tough to rid them of it and then see a baby with one. I'm confused. lol
Thanks for the reminder Jenny...we need to do that here too. In a serious way, Brody demands it all the time now!
