Friends, Food, and Fun!

We hosted dinner and a White Elephant gift exchange party at our house this weekend for my girlfriends and their significant others! So fun!! Brian and I used to do this a lot before the boys were born. Since we're both desperately needing adult interaction, we jumped at the opportunity to have friends over for a fun evening and to celebrate Christmas. Everyone arrived while the boys were still awake so they got to play and party a little too. :) After they went to bed, we had yummy food, did our gift exchange, and then played a game.
It was so fun and we hope to do it again soon.
Here's the boys waiting for guests to arrive.
I have no idea what they are watching??.....maybe Poltergeist??Dad-To-Be Andrew holding Jake.
Poor Andrew.....He's got no idea what he's in for in the next few minutes.
Jake is sizing up his head and ready to go in for a big sloppy lick.Zack demonstrating his free fall from the top of the fridge. He's a dare devil. :)Dad-To-Be Andrew struggling to contain Hurricane Jake.
Christy is quite entertained by the show....she's got kids so she understands. :)
Christy and Jason Anne and Seiler
Mom-To-Be Amy and Dad-To-Be Andrew.....Those smiles say they are thankful to be having a singleton.
Phew! Thank goodness we have another few months to prepare!
Kim and Gerdie.
Merry Christmas everyone! Let's do it again soon! :)

How fun! I'm totally cracking up at your friend trying to contain Hurricane Jake! CLASSIC!! Glad you got to have friends over. It's nice when they go to bed and you can actually chat with them!

That looks like fun - adults all sitting around the table, wine being served and A Christmas Story in the background. If Greg & I lived closer we would have totally crashed your party :).

What a nice party! I love the comment about how they are happy to be having a singleton. lol The best part is you didn't need a babysitter!!!
p.s. are the boys staying in their cribs now?

Wow! You had a lot of friends over! We are doing the white elephant gift game too plus other games on Christmas Eve when my family is here. It's going to be a blast!! I am serving appetizers only that day. Christmas dinner the next and T TOT casserole for brunch on Friday! (I better make a double or triple batch)

Merry Christmas BBBFF!

Need Christmas or Birthday Gift Ideas??
