Tree and Stockings!

So we finally put our Christmas tree up this weekend! I think we were the only people left in the world that hadn't put their tree up yet but my biggest excuse was to spare it and my nerves from Zack and Jake for as long as I could. Gotta love two toddlers! Normally my tree would be up the weekend of Thanksgiving and be covered with my Disney ornaments. Since the boys are mobile this year compared to last year and they consider everything fare game and chewable, I decided to create my own, toddler proof Disney ornaments so my tree could still be proud to be called a Disney tree. I found Disney clip art on various web sites and printed them...cut them out....laminated them...hole punched them....and strung them on ribbon. TaDa! So far a few have been attacked but the protective shell seems to be serving it's purpose! A toddler force field!! YiPpEe!

Zack making friends with the front door Snowman.

Here is the only picture I have of the boys helping to decorate. Zack had fun but Jake didn't really understand. He just wanted to try to crumple the ornaments in their protective coating and rip the ribbons off like it was a challenge. *L*

I love your tree Jenny, it's very pretty! I think that was a good idea on the ornaments. We have a half decorated tree and it's not so pretty :(.

Love it!!! It turned out so nice. I wish that I could have been there to help you laminate! I LOVE to Laminate. I think I need to create my very own ornaments for Bug. I could use my laminater too!!!!

Jenny, your tree is BEAUTIFUL!! I love it! What a fantastic idea. You are very crafty! I still haven't done my tree so yup, there still is 1 person left on this earth. I was going to do it Sunday, 2 days ago, and landed in the emergency room instead. Looking at your pics though, I'm feeling 1/2 way motivated though!!!
