.....I was finally released from the hospital after 10 days! PHEW!!
I dressed my 9 day old twins in their going home outfits...said goodbye to my nurses...and got to come home! HOME!! YiPpEe!!!
It was the boys first car ride and I remember crying as we were leaving the parking lot of the hospital because I couldn't believe I was finally getting to bring my babies home....let alone couldn't believe that these people were allowing me to take them. I think I was happy and freaking out a little at the same time. I hadn't had a minute alone with them since their birth and it was hard to fathom that Brian and I were flying solo as their parents from that day forward. EEK!
We got home and introduced them to their fur-sisters, Mayzie and Gerdie. I can't believe how small they were! What a difference a year makes!!

Wow! Doesnt time change things fast. I never understood how people say Kids grow up so fast until I watched my own zoom through their first year!
I remember this day well...*smiles*
They sure were tiny hu? I remember feeling the same way about going solo when we brought Spencer home from the hospital, but I thought it was just because I was only his Foster to Adopt Mother at the time.
They were SO tiny!! Do you ever tell them to slow down or stop growing so fast? Thats what I say. My hubby says GROW GROW GROW!
Oh, we have the same seats. weird. (although you don't use yours any more:))
Isn't it amazing to look back at them a year ago? How is it possible that time is going so fast! Look how little they look, Mayzie and Gerdie are like giants next to them :). What cute little peanuts!
you both are so wide eyed in these pictures! LOL Make me laugh. You've done a good job being 'newbies' to parenthood! Hugs..
Oh Yah...I see Zack had the same cubby cheeks as a new born too! LOL I love his cheeks...and Jakies hugs and open mouth kisses!
