Sorry....

I've been really bad about posting lately. :( Just tired and work has been crazy with the holidays, month end, and year end. The boys are really getting active in the evenings when I get them home from daycare and they don't allow me to sit at my computer like they did even a few weeks ago. It's pretty much non-stop until about 7:30 when they go to bed and then I eat and turn into a pile of mush on the couch until I drag myself up to bed. I'll try to make a better effort blog readers!

Here are some updates....(coming to you remotely while on lunch at work, so sorry for no pictures)

13 days to their FIRST BIRTHDAY!!! EEEEEEK! I can't believe my babies are going to be a year old. I guess I can't call them newborns anymore....but are they toddlers yet?

We're trying whole milk in sippy cups at snack time and it's going OK. I want to try to break them from their bottles at the same time I stop formula. So formula in bottles and milk in sippy cups. They seem to really like the milk but the coldness of it is a little puzzling to them I think and Dory and Nemo on their cups are a bit distracting but hopefully not for long. Snack time is going real good. They are eating a good variety. Their favorites are cheese cubes and cheerios. They eat those first and then reluctantly move on to the dried or fresh fruits and veggies. Zack has great pincer control and picks up piece by piece and Jake is getting better everyday. Generally Jake grabs handfuls with his fist but most of the foods seem to make it in his mouth somehow. He's getting better. I love to watch both of them eat....so cute! :)

They have been sleeping through the nights! YIPPEEEEEEE!! It's pretty much been solid through the night since my last post. We have not changed a diaper or given a bottle in over a week. PHEW! Sleep is GREAT! I can't tell you how much I missed it....but I still seem to wake myself up and lay there listening for them through the monitor.

Jake is clapping now! Zack started about a month ago (?) and now Jake is doing it too....SOOOO CUTE! They are both starting to dance/wiggle a little too and Jake jumps in place. They are not walking solo yet but the furniture cruising is really strong now. Zack is doing great standing up and pulling up. It's like he's been doing it forever!

ok....lunch is over....back to work! Thanks for taking the time to peek at my blog and I'll try to be better at making time to post. That should be a resolution for the new year!
