We flew with Brian's Mom, and Brian's sister to Oklahoma to visit Brian's Dad and Brother and to also visit some of Brian's friends from High school....Brian and Greg Bobo. Brian Bobo met us at the airport in Oklahoma City just to say Hi and then his girlfriend Jennifer and their kids met up with us at Santa Fe Steakhouse for dinner. It was nice for Brian to catch up with an old friend. After dinner we headed to Lawton Oklahoma where Brian grew up and where his Dad Jim and Brother Jamie still live. We got settled into our hotel and then I stayed with Zack and Jake while Brian and his sister Tiffany went to visit with their Dad and Brother. The next morning we went across the parking lot to Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast / early lunch. The boys had fun playing with a little peg game and the food was yummy! My favorite was the hash brown casserole....Yummy! Later that day we went over to Jamie's house and hung out for a bit. Zack enjoyed playing with the dog and Jake loved playing the piano. Uncle Jamie and Aunt Tami watched Zack and Jake while Brian and I went to Wayne's Drive-in for dinner. (Thanks guys!!) After dinner we headed back to the hotel to put the boys down and then Brian headed back to Jamie's house to hang out and catch up. The next day was the big game....Texas vs. Oklahoma University. This means nothing to me, but it was a big deal to Uncle Jamie! Aunt Tiffany bought the boys shirts to wear but it wasn't good luck because OU lost. Sorry Uncle Jamie. :( After the game we went to dinner with the whole family and some family friends...Gene and Jeannie Purvis. Dinner was yucky but the company was great. The boys enjoyed running around after dinner and cousin Amanda was the perfect helper! I told Brian we need to get ourselves one of those! After leaving the restaurant we headed to the Purvis house to let the kids play with their grand kids...Carson and Keaton. They had a great backyard and the weather was still warm even though it was dark. All the kids had a blast running all over the place. We headed back to the hotel to put the boys down and this time that included Brian since he'd had two late nights in a row already. :) The next morning we got up and met Brian's Dad, his brother Jamie, and cousin Amanda for breakfast at Cracker Barrel again. After we ate we said our goodbyes to them and to Lawton and headed back to Oklahoma City to hang out some more with Brian's friends that live there since we had to catch a very early flight from there in the morning. We went with Brian, Greg, and their families to Frontier City...a little amusement park and had a great time. It's hard to talk and catch up in a place like that so after we headed back to the hotel to put the boys down, Brian met up with his friends again and enjoyed another late night. I'm glad he got to catch up and he said he had a great time and hadn't laughed like that in a long time. Good for him! We were up EARLY and headed to the airport at 5:00am Oklahoma time / 3:00am California time and flew home! We got home around noonish and plopped down! Zack and Jake were so happy to see their toys and Brian and I were so happy to be home! Traveling always amazes me....we woke up in Oklahoma and by noon we were home in California! Gotta love that! :)
Thanks to Grandma Myra and Aunt Tiffany for all the help with the boys on all 4 plane rides. PHEW! Thanks to Uncle Jamie, Aunt Tami, and Cousin Amanda for all the help keeping the boys entertained on our trip. Thanks to the Purvis family for opening your backyard so the boys could play! Thanks to the Bobo's for a fun day at Frontier City! It was fun to meet you guys and now it's your turn to head this direction! Thanks to everyone else for a nice visit!
I had to break the pictures up into two different slideshows because Photobucket only allows 50 pictures per slideshow....so enjoy 2 shows for the price of one trip to my blog!
Part 1!
Part 2!

I just love your photo captions Jenny, they always crack me up. Looks like you guys had a good and successful trip. The boys look so grown up in the pictures. Glad you're all back safely!
Ditto to what Joanna said...she almost took the words out of my mouth! When did the boys change? Overnight?? Zack has a new expression...like the one he gave me just before the trip. It's sweet.
Funny pictures and captions. :) I watched them all :) Celia is like that with balls too. EVERYTHING is a ball. We're trying to work on circle, but she is avoiding it.
Were you on that ride that went upside down or just DH? I would be puking for days later. I can't even handle a boat.
I too agree that your captions on the pictures are so funny.
The boys do look so grown up.
Glad that the trip went well.
Another fun trip!! I really do enjoy your photo captions too - they always make me laugh!
