Last Week We Went To The Park...

...but it took me 5 days to load the pictures. Sorry....sick kiddies have kept me busy.
We have a local recreational area...Howarth Park....that I love and have been going to since I was a child. There is a lake where you can rent paddle boats, feed the ducks, and fish. There are great walking paths and hiking trails all surrounded by trees, a little train to ride, a carousel, a small animal petting area, pony rides and of course a playground. (Hmmm....maybe this is were my love of Disneyland comes from...???) My Mom and I took the boys last Tuesday morning before nap and before it got too hot and they had a great time. I can't wait to take them there more when I don't have to have help...maybe next summer....but for now, I'm grateful that my Mom is around to help me so that the boys can do fun stuff instead of being cooped up in the house all day. Here's our morning at the park....
"Hand me some bread Mom. I'm going duck hunting!"

"Throw this thing in gear and lets RIDE!"

"Mom...is this REALLY a ghost town?? Where is everybody??"
(It was early...note to self, come later next time so your children see that
other children really do exist.)

"No pictures Mom! I don't want everyone to know that I can only ride sidesaddle."

"This horseback riding really chaps the inner thighs."

"Turn on the water feature Mom....I wanna get SOAKED!!"

"Bongos? Steps? Seats?"

"I'm going to be the first March in this family to climb to the top."

I have no idea what this germ infested thing was but it kept Zack entertained for a solid minute. Just long enough for the critters to invade his body.

It was a GREAT visit to the park. The boys had such a good time running around checking everything out...twice! And I enjoyed making music with the 'seats, bongos, steps' Lets go again!

I remember taking Bug to this park when we came down to visit last year. It looks like there is a splash pad there??? That yellow circle thing that Zack was looking at. Maybe or Maybe not? And yes, I am sure that last toy was covered in germs and that is where your little guys got the bugs....It always seems like when Bug and I take the city bus down town to Mobius he gets a cold or something a few days afterwards. It is getting better but I sometimes think to myself..."OK, is it worth getting him out for some fun when he is going to be sick for the next week?" Sometimes yes, sometimes NO! But like I said it is getting better. He must be being exposed to more of the same germs he already has been exposed too. GOOD FINALLY!

So did they sick from the park? Looks like a neat place! I kind of like it when there aren't kids there cause Celia is like a magnet to other kids. I am SO glad my mom can come help too. Its help and adult conversation! Cute pictures! Those are some cutie pies.

Wow, that place is awesome. It just looks so relaxing too so I'd have been glad to have it to myself! We have no good parks near us so I am wayyyyyyyy jealous!!! The boys are so darn cute, and that pic in the car is pretty darn awesome for being held above your head!
