20 years is still 2 years away.....but I got together with some friends from high school on Friday night that I haven't seen in almost 20 years! We met for a drink and some happy hour appetizers. It was nice to catch up but I felt like the odd duck because all three girls have kids over 11 years old and mine are only 18 months. *L* I'll be 50 when my boys start to drive...which makes me feel REALLY OLD....but Brian reminded me that they could be young Grandmas so that made me feel a little better....until I realized that I'll be a REALLY OLD GRANDMA someday. Sheesh....

I acutally got an email the other day about my 20 year reunion....in November of this year. I am not going to attend, because well, I didn't have much fun at my 10 year and with the new baby and all, and living in a different state...to many excuses??? Maybe, but what struck me the most was that it was going to be 20 years! Wow....and thanks for the reminder that I will be in my 50's too when my kids start driving and graduating and then I will be an old Grandma too. Ugg....Not fun to think about.
yah well..I can top you! 40 years for me...and I am going to be a REAL old Grammy when your kids start driving and Graduate! LOL HEY! If you kids start having kids right away...you will be my age. Are you saying I am really OLD??!!
That's great! You all look so pretty! - Hey - I am in the same boat as you. But this is how I am looking at it - a lot of my friends have older kids and when they see our twins or other babies - they have the "i want a baby" face. And here we are - we get to enjoy our babies, then toddlers, then school age kids.. did that make any sense?
