On Saturday, I met up with a dear friend and former co-worker Krista, her husband Erik, and their 2 1/2 year old son Bryce. Krista and I worked together a long time ago...before husbands...before kids. We went to each other's weddings and have been able to keep in touch over the years so it was very exciting to get together and have our kids meet!

We had a nice...although too short....visit while the boys ran all over the place. I hope we can get together again really soon so that our boys become friends! Thanks Krista, Erik, and Bryce!
****Note to any playground designer that might be reading this****
1.) Never use wood chips in a playground....kids fall and get splinters and they
STAB THROUGH FLIP FLOPS!! Hello!?!
2.) What's up with the deep pit under these swings? I couldn't even get myself up on this swing....you can't tell but my feet are not on the ground. How is a child....such as mine....with like a 7 inch inseam supposed to get on this swing??
IT'S A CHILD'S PLAYGROUND!! HELLO?!?
...Still good times though! :)

It's good to have close good friends. Glad you could get together. Hope you do it more!
You are too clever. Why is our hair the same color..lol! You are the bomb diggity- great pictures...now I really feel bad. Looking forward to a get together soon. xox me
I agree about the bark...but they keep doing it, and the swing set deal, ummmm....I can't get on it either....I think they want the little kids to climb....work on those muscles...I think...or they have hidden cameras to watch us try to get up on them. *L*
How fun!! Good tips for a playground developer. Bark chips? I don't think they have those here. And you're in DL right now, I'm so jealous. I hope you have a great time!
lol That last pic looks a bit like you are in a prison playground. lol Toddler Prison maybe?
Cool reunion!
I agree about the playgrounds.. what the??? There is some other spongey like material that looks like asphalt, but isn't... that is my favorite. Hard to find tho.
