I pulled out my old Romper Room cloth baby doll from when I was little to see what the boys would do with her. Jake didn't seem interested in her much except to point out her nose a few times. Zack seemed to be taken by her after a little while. I think she's in good hands. :)
So does anyone remember the children's TV show Romper Room or was that a regional show local to the San Francisco area??

I totally got excited when you mentioned Romper Room! I remember us watching that show! What great memories. :)
I did a search on Youtube and found the very first Romper Room from 1953? Here is the link.

It is funny that it is set to the music of "Wish apon a star". There were tons of other shows. I saw one where the Miss Nancy says the closing line with the magic mirror. "Romper Bomper, Stomper Boo. Tell me, Tell me, Tell me do. Magic Mirror Tell me today. Did all my friends have fun at play?"
Sent chills down my spine. I remember waiting and hoping to hear her say my name as a kid!
oooh...you both do have fond memories of your childhood! yeah! Baby is indeed in good hands...sweet sweet Zack...a gentle soul!
Awww, that is too cute! Zack likes his dolly :). Is it also Zack who likes the stroller? At least he could push his doll - ha ha. I don't think I've ever seen romper room but it sounds familiar, so maybe I've heard of it. I think it's neat that you saved your doll for so many years!
Awwww what a cutie! Is Zack the one who likes to push the stroller (sorry, I still mix your boys up! I should have them straight by now!).
Romper Room sounds familiar, but I don't think I ever saw it.
yes I do and the end when she looked into the world and said she loves you you and you well your boys are getting so big and my son just loves to watch the videos
Yes I remember romper room! I can't believe you have a doll from when you were little. I don't have anything from my childhood:( I had a "Henry Dog" that I carried around for years!
